White Rose Hospice is based in Witbank, South Africa. We provide home based care for the terminally ill, counseling services, in patient care, respite care and frail care.

Our vision is to care for the terminally ill regardless of colour, creed, nature of illness or ability to pay.

Terminal care is a very negative form of nursing in many people's eyes. Our philosophy is that there are only two certainties in life

You are born and you will die.

When you are born there is always one person there - 'our mother'. So why can't we expect the same when we die? - at least one person who cares.

Too many people die alone in South africa either through poverty or neglect. There is no need.
